The paradox of being…

There is an irony in the human condition.

We spend a lifetime focusing on self preservation, as being alive is the most driving force we are faced with.

We spend a lifetime giving pieces of that life force to every person that enters our lives.

In the end we are fragments of who we wanted to be.

The redeeming factor in all of this is, a mirror that has been shattered into a thousand pieces still reflects light.

Instead of reaching into the past and trying to retrieve those slivers that have been taken, create new ones to fill in the empty spaces.

Being WHOLE is inherently within each individual’s grasp. It’s just a matter of how comfortable you have become with not filling the gaps and struggling to breathe with what remains.
